Inhalt:Newt Scamander ist um die ganze Welt gereist, um die seltensten und ungewöhnlichsten magischen Wesen aufzuspüren und zu studieren, um über sie in seinem Buch ‚Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them‘ zu berichten.Nun ist er in New York angekommen, wo er nur kurz bleiben möchte, aber dann wird sein Koffer vertauscht und einige seiner Tierwesen entlaufen.Mein Eindruck:Ich bin sehr großer Harry Potter-Fan, habe alle Bände mehrfach und in verschiedenen Sprachen gelesen und als Hörbuch gehört und kenne auch die Schulbücher von Harry (‚Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them‘ von Newt Scamander und ‚Quidditch Through the Ages‘ von Kennilworthy Whisp) sowie ‚The Tales of Beedle the Bard‘ und das im Sommer 2016 erschienene ‚Harry Potter and the Cursed Child‘ (wobei mir das Letztgenannte übrigens weniger gut gefallen hat). Ich war sehr gespannt auf den Film und das Originaldrehbuch, vor allem weil mir die Harry Potter-Filme im Vergleich zu den Büchern deutlich weniger gefallen und weil es sich hier zum ersten Mal nicht um eine Buchverfilmung handelt.Ich habe das Originaldrehbuch gelesen und zwischendurch den Film gesehen und muss sagen, dass ich durch das Drehbuch allein noch nicht gefesselt wurde und noch nicht restlos begeistert war. Nachdem ich mir den Film angeschaut hatte, hat mir das Drehbuch aber sehr großen Spaß gemacht, da es mich zurück in den (spannenden, zauberhaften und rundum gelungenen) Film versetzt hat.Ich lese sehr selten Drehbücher und fand das Buch mit den Regieanweisungen und den abgehackten Sätzen anfangs eher ungewöhnlich zu lesen. Andererseits haben die Regieanweisungen sehr geholfen, sich alles perfekt vorzustellen und die Szenen vor dem geistigen Auge zu sehen.Das Drehbuch beinhaltet einige wenige Szenen, die im Film nicht vorkommen, aber ansonsten wurde (natürlich) alles eins zu eins umgesetzt. Sehr gefallen haben mir auch die Aufmachung des Buches mit den Ornamenten und Zeichnungen.Mein Resümee:Eine wunderbare Geschichte und ein großartiger Film mit einem spannenden Drehbuch und der von J.K. Rowling gewohnten Liebe zum Details und wahrhaft magischen Momenten.
At first I was very disappointed just like the most of us since we did expected from J.K. Rowling more than a screen play. However it was not as bad as I thought it would be. In fact it is a very delightful book to read! The most pleasant aspect about this book is, that although it may be a screen play and of course it has in some extent a formal structure that comes with this type of writing, the reader is still able to grasp some of the hidden magical way of writing that we are so familiar with Harry Potter.Overall I can say it has surprised me in a very positive way and I can only say that anybody who loves Harry Potter will also like this book.
Da ich heute in Teil 2 der "Phantastische Tierwesen" Filme war, habe ich vorher das Buch gelesen, um mich wieder besser an den ersten Film zu erinnern.Mir hat es sehr viel Spaß gemacht, das Script zu dem Film zu lesen, da ich mich so sehr gut an alle Szenen im Film erinnern konnte.Besonders toll fand ich es mal wieder ein ganz anderes Genre zu lesen, denn eigentlich lese ich Dramen/Scripte sehr gerne, mache es aber viel zu selten.Das Schöne an Skripten ist meiner Meinung nach, dass man sich entweder, wie in diesem Fall, wieder an die Handlung erinnert und wieder die passenden Bilder im Kopf hat, oder, dass man der Fantasie noch viel besser freien Lauf lassen kann.Trotzdem würde ich sagen, dass man es mögen muss, Scripte zu lesen, da dies nicht unbedingt jedermanns Sache ist.Die Handlung fand ich sehr spannend und auch der Schreibstil hat mir wieder sehr gut gefallen.Alles in allem kann ich das Buch auf jeden Fall nur weiterempfehlen, da es eine tolle Möglichkeit ist, sich wieder an den Film zu erinnern.
I used to read all Harry Potter stories and avoided the Screenplays so far because i couldn't imagine that they would be as great. Now i came across the screenplays anyways and really liked them. They are not as great as the novels but thrilling and seem toll be great now for adults. I still hope J.K. Rowling will return to writing novels soon.
Das Screenplay ist fast identisch mit dem schlussendlichen Film und die Aufmachung des Buches ist einfach "FANTASTISCH". Die kleinen Illustrationen auf dem Einband und auch im Buch selbst sind einfach wunderschön und es ist super, wenn man immer wieder ein neues Wesen wiedererkennt. Zur Story selbst kann ich nur sagen, dass sie mir als absolutem Potterhead total gefällt und ich mich auf die neuen Filme freue.
Beautiful book. I highly recommend it. I thought reading a screenplay would be a difficult thing but honestly you don't notice it after a while. Lovely illustrations. Definitely worth reading.
Ich war sehr gespannt auf die Erzählung, war dann aber am Anfang etwas überfordert von der Tatsache, dass es kein Buch in Prosa ist, sondern eben ein Drehbuch. Die Geschichte ist natürlich ebenso schön, wie alles andere, was ich von Frau Rowling bisher gelesen habe. Den fertigen Film im Kino dann zu sehen, war für mich, die ich es gelesen hatte, genauso schön und spannend wie für die Freunde, mit denen ich im Kino war.
